Digoudou excursion
Early morning departure from Tchibanga for a pirogue trip on the Nyanga River or a 4x4 bush trip. Arriving at Digoudou, observe its spectacular geological formations of marble and stone alignments.
Drive back to Tchibanga, stopping to photograph the impressive scenery along the way.

There are 4 main seasons:
Dec – Jan (Short dry season): Clear skies, hot and dry.
→ Light clothes, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses.
Feb – Apr (Long wet season): Heavy rains and heat.
→ Raincoat, waterproof shoes, breathable clothes.
May – Sept (Long dry season): Overcast skies, cool mornings.
→ Light jacket or sweater, comfy clothing.
Oct – Nov (Short wet season): Mix of rain and sun.
→ Layerable clothes, umbrella or light raincoat.

Yellow Fever vaccination is mandatory (proof required on arrival).
Antimalarials are recommended. Speak with your GP to choose the best option.
Note: Doxycycline can cause sun sensitivity.
Not really.
They react to fast movement (e.g., boats), but are rarely a problem on foot.
Avoid dark clothes (especially black and navy).
Gabonese Tsetse flies do not carry Sleeping Sickness.
Tips are not required but always appreciated.
