The program
Departure from Tchibanga
Set off at dawn in a 4x4 to reach Camp Doussala. The journey, which takes around 1h30, takes in the region's varied landscapes, from dense forests to lush green valleys.

Gabon has a tropical climate with 4 main seasons:
Dec – Jan (Short dry season): Blue skies, dry heat

Avoid dark clothing (navy/black) to reduce risk of tsetse fly bites (especially on boat transfers)
Doxycycline causes sun sensitivity – protect your skin well
